Enterprise-Level Commitment

We (keepspire.com, the Solution Compass vendor) provide products and services for businesses and understand the importance of data safety. To ensure this, we use enterprise-level licensing models and solutions for managing data.

Solution Compass is operated as an application within Atlassian Jira Cloud, built using the Atlassian Forge platform.

Data Ownership

You remain the owner of your data, including data accessed, processed, or generated within Jira through Solution Compass, both inputs and outputs (as allowed by law).

Business Data Safety

Your data (inputs or outputs) are not used to train any shared or public AI models.

The only exception is when we prepare a dedicated model for you based on a separate agreement; in such a situation, the model is used exclusively for you and is not shared with anyone else.

Technical Data Security

Your data is managed using enterprise-grade cloud technologies and licenses, including Atlassian Cloud infrastructure and external services required to deliver Solution Compass functionality.

Use of Your Data

We may use information about how you interact with Solution Compass (such as feature usage patterns or execution statistics) to improve its functionalities.
We do not use your business content for analytics or training purposes.

Usage of Results

Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI tools are not sources of infallible information. Use them consciously and avoid utilizing generated results without verification.

By using Solution Compass, you agree not to use the service to create, train, or develop competitive solutions.

Personal Data Processing / GDPR

  • We manage data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  • We offer businesses the option to sign a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) under a separate agreement.
  • If you do not have a signed agreement with us for processing personal or sensitive data, we recommend not providing such data beyond what is required for Jira-based workflows.
  • We ensure data security as described in this policy; however, we do not provide legal compliance guarantees unless covered by a dedicated agreement.

When Solution Compass is used within Jira Cloud:

  • Atlassian acts as an independent data controller for Jira platform data

keepspire.com acts as a data controller or data processor depending on the specific functionality provided by Solution Compass

Your Data in Solution Compass

Collecting Information

Solution Compass does not operate as a standalone service and does not create separate user accounts.
All access to the app is managed through Jira and Atlassian authentication.

What We Access and Process

When operating as a Jira Cloud app, Solution Compass may access and process the following data made available via Jira APIs, depending on permissions granted by the Jira administrator:

  • Jira issue data (e.g. summaries, descriptions, comments, fields, labels, issue links, attachments metadata, and other issue metadata)
  • Project and issue identifiers
  • User identifiers provided by Jira (e.g. Atlassian accountId, display name)
  • App configuration and operational metadata (e.g. execution IDs, status, timestamps)

We do not collect or manage user passwords or authentication credentials. Authentication is handled exclusively by Atlassian.

How We May Use the Data

We may use the data accessed through Jira to:

  • Deliver the declared functionality of Solution Compass within Jira
  • Analyze and process Jira issues using AI-assisted workflows
  • Trigger and orchestrate external workflows
  • Create or update Jira content (e.g. comments, field values, issue content)
  • Improve Solution Compass functionality and reliability
  • Ensure data security and prevent misuse
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations
  • Provide technical support

Updates to Jira content may occur as a result of a user action or automatically in the background based on app configuration (for example, after an external workflow or AI process completes).

Data Storage and Processing

Jira and Forge Platform

Solution Compass processes Jira data within the Atlassian Cloud environment using the Forge platform.

Forge Storage

To support its functionality, Solution Compass may store data using Atlassian Forge storage, including:

  • App configuration (e.g. settings, mappings)
  • Operational metadata (e.g. execution IDs, status, timestamps)
  • Selected Jira issue content required for processing and traceability, including structured extracts and AI-generated outputs linked to Jira issues
External Processing

To deliver its functionality, Solution Compass may transmit selected Jira data to external services, including:

  • n8n for workflow automation and orchestration
  • Third-party Large Language Model (LLM) providers for AI-assisted analysis and content generation

Only the minimum data necessary to perform the requested operation is transmitted.
Customer data is not used to train shared or public AI models unless explicitly agreed otherwise in a separate contract.

Data Retention

Data stored by Solution Compass (including Jira issue content and AI-generated outputs) is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service, support traceability, and meet legal or contractual obligations.

Where feasible, time-based retention and deletion mechanisms are applied.

User Rights and Data Deletion

Jira administrators may uninstall Solution Compass at any time, which immediately stops further access to Jira data.

App data stored using Forge storage is deleted within a reasonable period after uninstallation, unless retention is required by law or agreed otherwise.
